Pontoon Internal Floating Roof – Stainless Steel
The TankTechnic Stainless Steel Internal Floating Roof (IFR) was developed for products which may be corrosive to aluminium. This Stainless-Steel Skin & Pontoon type IFR is the same basic design as our Aluminium Skin & Pontoon IFR except that all components are constructed of stainless steel. This IFR, as with our standard Aluminium Skin & Pontoon Type IFR, is completely pre-fabricated and can be installed through tank shell manways as small as 18” diameter. Since all pontoons are seal-welded and pressure-tested at our fabrication facility, through this a field hydrotest should not required.
